They say what goes around comes around and you can pretty much apply that saying to just about anything from clothing to jewelry and also toys and games. So, imagine my surprise when I saw that kids pedal cars have really made a comeback the nostalgia that evoked has been amazing.

It took me immediately back to my childhood when my friends and I used to line up our childs pedal car and race furiously down the street probably causing mayhem. So, I was absolutely delighted to find that in this day and age of computer games and all things electronic that this humble toy really has made an impact. To be honest I have been quietly thrilled as I think some kids today do not realise what fun is to be had pedalling around with your thoughts. It has to be just as creative and certainly as stimulating as being sat in front of a screen.

The best thing has to be the awesome choice of styles and designs you can now pick from. Forget one boring colour, take it or leave it and that is it, think replica fire truck (bells, ladders) jeeps, 4 x 4s, Cadillacs, the opportunities are endless. Your child can be whoever they want to be King or Queen of the road (or backyard).

Made of fantastic hard wearing materials, I cannot think of a better way to make the perfect Christmas or birthday for any small person and the joy on their faces is sure to be worth a million dollars.

The other bonus is the fact that they will be getting some exercise in a fun, non structured way and this has to be the best sort sometimes. It has to be frustrating as a child to be dragged around to activities that do not really hold any interest but your Mom or Dad insist on the exercise so, fresh air and plenty of it, just fantastic.

The only disappointment with the childs pedal car of today is that I am too big to fit in one myself and I so wish that they had been around like this when I was a kid. I feel just ever slightly envious because to have one of these babies would have been totally awesome.
